As a visual storyteller, I cover a wide spectrum of subject matter, from politics to breaking news, sports to housing, and all manner of unexpected assignments. I currently work for FEMA, deploying across 8 states to document recovery operations after natural disasters like Hurricane Helene and flooding in eastern Kentucky.

Being from a working-class background, I believe in the importance of journalism that is accessible and inclusive. I want my community to see themselves reflected in our coverage.

I am certified in Hostile Environment and First Aid Training (HEFAT) and a Part 107-certified pilot.

I’ve been fortunate to participate in EAW XXXII, VII Photo Agency’s “The Life That Remains” workshop, Sports Shooter Academy and NPPA’s Northern Short Course. My work has been recognized in the Texas Managing Editors Awards and Georgia Press Awards.

My photos and video have been featured in media outlets like USA Today, NPR, The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated, the Associated Press, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Ledger-Enquirer, the Statesman Journal and the Arizona Republic.

In May 2019, I graduated with a BFA in photojournalism from the Corcoran School at GWU in Washington, D.C.
